High-waisted trousers can hide a multitude of sins. If like me you like to indulge on a weekend (or every other day of the week), high-waisted trousers can be necessary basic for your wardrobe. I spent Saturday sipping on wine (the staple non-alcoholic wine that no Nigerian gathering is without) and gorging on Chinese food. So a fitted dress was out of the question unless I wanted to look like the Michelin Man.
I paired this outfit with a leather or pleather sleeved coats (save the cows and all) from Dorothy Perkins. Coats like this provide adequate warmth without being too bulky which is necessary in this weather confused environment.
The trousers are originally from Primarni a few years ago. They are very versatile and can be dressed up or down. For a casually everyday look you can swap the blouse for a short sleeve crop top and add a bright statement necklace.
The top is also a few years old and is a testament of the stain removing power of Daz that its still wonderfully white. In all seriousness though it is also a staple in my wardrobe and is very versatile. The slight sheen of the fabric sets it apart from other plain white blouses.
Shoes were a gift from a dear friend's mum, they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. These shoes are perfect if you want to be a bit more dressed up without the added pain and suffering of stilettos.
Trousers: Primark, Top: Local shop (aka i cant remember), Shoes: Macys? (i think),
Coat & Earrings: Dorothy Perkins, Bag: Matalan
Hope you are having a great week
Until Next time xo.
