Today's blog post is titled reflections as I'm felling very sentimental. After 4 years of hardgraft, late nights, many a grey hair (well just two) and lower back pain, I have come to the end of my pharmacy degree.
Now I know technically I have a dissertation and three exams to finish but I'm a firm believer in saying things in faith.
The above picture sums up exactly how I feel about the last four years of my pharmacy degree. I am now at the point where I can look back and smile ( or in my case smize).
For anyone or for most people who have gone through university it is a given that you will not end the same person you started.
There have been ups and down but in the end I've met some wonderful people who have had a profound effect on me as a person.
Some have taught me to aim for the very best, to stand by my own beliefs regardless of what others believe or think and finally in every situation look at and for the positives.
A piece of advice I'd like to give you regardless of what stage you are in life, is that things may not always work out in your favour, you may not be where you want to be at the moment or you have lost people along the way that you throught would always be around.
Do not be discourage because sometimes it is necessary for us to endure a climb before we can reach the mountain top.
At the end of the day, those difficult and sometimes discouraging times can strengthen you and build you up preparing you for a greater time in the future.
So don't be discouraged but remain ever positive with your mind focused on the good.
Philippians 4:6-8
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.
Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Until next time
xoxo
